Service Description: The data represented in this map feature service are all data layers associated with the Guilford County Environmental Health, On-Site Wastewater Division. The data is collected and used to evaluate soils to determine the suitability for a septic tank systems, review waste system designs as necessary, issue improvement permits and construction authorizations, inspects installation of septic systems and issues operator permits for approved systems in Guilford County. Also includeed in this dataset is Well Inspection locations within Guilford County. The Guilford County Environmental Health Water Quality Program oversees the construction, repair and abandonment of water supply wells in Guilford County and provides services to the public, well contractors and pump installers.
